Dateline: Nashville. Greg and Alex were roommates. They both liked musical things, so they played some music. And Greg wrote some songs, and they played those a few times. But, all in all, they were terrible songs and the music was terrible and the venues were terrible and it was all terrible. So Greg moved to Atlanta to get away from the haunting memories of the terrible music.
Then Alex moved to Atlanta. They both still liked musical things, so they tried again. Greg wrote some more songs, and suddenly everything seemed much less terrible. So much less terrible they kept writing and started recording to help get their ideas down. Then the ideas were down, and they sounded good, and they decided two man bands were good for streetcorners and guitar hero but little else. So they got bigger, asking Tucker and David to join on. And that brings us up to now, and everything is definitely much, much less terrible.
